I am a Ph.D. student here at UCCS, as well as the CEO and one of two founding members of Synapse Software, a Colorado Springs-based software firm specializing in mobile applications for communication and social networking. My research and professional interests include biologically-inspired computation, general computational neuroscience, computational linguistics mobile computation, medical software, applications for secondary and higher-level education, and even some philosophy and theology.
Prior to moving to Colorado to pursue my Ph. D., I graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA in May, 2009 with a B.S. in Computer Science. In my increasingly scarce free time, I enjoy hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.
I maintain (sporadically) a more personal web space at pub.synaptogenesis.net.

Please note that this syncs from my actual calendar, which means it only lists times that I specifically am busy, but not where I am at that time. I am generally off-campus at my company's office except during class and scheduled office hours, but am happy to schedule additional times to meet with students given sufficient notice.
